I have been practicing medicine since 2011, after finishing my training at Internal Medicine Residency Program, UTSW – Austin. I work as a hospitalist at Seton Williamson and also see patients at skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers.
I feel blessed to be a physician, since this allows me to take care of patients and help not only sick people, but also to make a positive impact on the lives of their loved ones. I feel gratified and rewarded each day at my job when I can make a patient feel better and am able to comfort their family as well.
I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine and I am also a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer. The goal of my private concierge practice is to bridge medicine with fitness. This holistic approach allows me to approach patient care from a nutrition, fitness and biochemical standpoint.
I love working in all areas of medicine including private practice and inpatient hospitalist medicine. I have also held medical directorships in a nursing home and a hospice facility. Furthermore, I have extensive experience working with patients in the Rehab and Long Term Acute Care settings as well.
My main hobby is weight lifting and fitness training. I’m very passionate about this and constantly post video and informational updates for free on my Instagram page @ramdeenmd.
